How does Boveda work?
Boveda packs create and maintain the ideal relative humidity (RH) level required for storing cigars.
Boveda compensates the internal atmosphere. If the air inside your humidor is too moist, Boveda absorbs that moisture. If it’s too dry, Boveda releases purified vapor back into your humidor.
This 2-way humidity control capability means Boveda packs work independently, in less time, and with greater consistency than traditional humidification products, like gels, beads, sponges, etc. Unlike those methods, Boveda works automatically.
Boveda uses a patented 2-way humidity control system containing an all-natural mixture of pure water and saturated salts sealed inside a water-vapor permeable membrane.
